پيرى و جوانى

الا پير دانا، تو خود خوب دانى

نيابى دگر روزگار جوانى

همه عمر طى شد به دنبال فردا

مگر چيست فردا، به جز ناتوانى

مكن فكر فردا تو امروز اى دوست

اگر باشدت اندكى اب و نانى

ندانى كه فردا برايت چه دارد

كه امروز در حسرت ان بمانى

غنيمت شمر اين دو روزى كه هستى

اگر چه نمانده است جز نيمه جانى 

دل امروز خوش دار و ماتم رها كن 

كه پيرى است اينده ى هر جوانى.
