راه اندازي كارگاه موسيقي درمریلند آمریکا چه بسا از شب شعر مریلند كه با همت فرهنگ دوستان ایرانی بنا شده بود در ذهن من الهام گرفته و بذر اين اقدام فرهنگي را كاشته.  موفقيت و تحقق اين حركت جمعي به همت وهمكاري وعلاقه دوستان فرهنگ پرور ايراني بستگي خواهد داشت.

براي اطلاع شما خلاصه انگيزه و پيشنهاد راه اندازي كارگاه موسيقي را در اینجا مطرح ميكنم :

ايجاد يك حرکت جمعي براي ارتقاء موسيقي و با محتواي موارد ذيل : 

1- آشنايي با موسيقی: آموزش نظری و عملي موسيقي  (سلفژ: شامل نت خواني،  ضرب خواني و تقويت گوش )
2-  تمرين گروهی هنرجويان : گروه نوازي و گروه خواني
3- ايجاد گروه كر و سرودهاي ميهني واجراي گروهي در مقابل شنوندگان و دوستداران موسيقي
4-  اموزش موسيقي براي كودكان و نو جوانان  شبيه كلاس هاي کارل ارف آمادگي موسيقي قبل از انتخاب آلات موسيقي براي كودكان
5- آشنايي با رديف دستگاه هاي ايراني براي عموم
6- آموزش رديف سازي و آوازي دستگاه هاي ايراني به هنرجويان ( متوسظه و عالی)
